03 Brief 4

I would like my double page to about my hobby to do with football. I think I am good at this sport and have a big passion for the sport. This will make my website a lot more reliable and easier as it is a familiar thing to me as I have been playing football for a long time and have a knowledge for the game. I will be choosing Brief 4 because football is very popular between the ages of 14-18 so it would benefit and attract this age group. I would talk about my local football club. I will use informative language which will be appropriate for teenagers. some example newspaper articles would be 'super striker win the local cup against rivals!' 'Teddington athletic take home victory with a 2-1 exhilarating win' 'Claygate royals score a brace against Esher athletic'

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/get-inspired/23152583

For my front cover I will have me with my Teddington football team or me playing football when I was younger to show I have been playing football for a long time. I will use facts about football and how much I like playing football. I would like my audience, which will be around the ages of 14-18, to share the same passion as me about football and to get them more interested about it. my double page spread will have many photos of me playing football or other people playing football.

My first page is going to be about grassroots football and getting into football. grassroots football is where every footballer has started and made there way to the top. Grassroots football is played by millions, with thousands of small leagues all around the world.

I will have a trailer about football and will use some people in my class to help with the trailer or be in the trailer.

The website title will be FEATURED FOOTBALL. How to get inspired and how to get into football more. 10 tips to how to be more creative and involved with football

DUMMY TITLE:

SUPER SUNDAY: 10 fixtures rounded up all through the weekend with some thrillers!

Brief 1: Magazines

For my double page spread, I would probably put photos of a football that. I would write an article about it and put pictures of perhaps players

Brief 3: Music video

For my music video I would maybe pick a song and then use different types of shots e.g slow Mo, pan shot etc to show different emotions and then lip sync in certain parts. For example Drake

Brief 4: Website

I have a few hobbies and so would write about one of these. I enjoy baking, making music, acting, fashion/textiles etc. I would do a website on one of these and do a video showing my process for example show me showing fits and outfits

What is your impression of the sixties era?

The sixties are represented as a specific fashion time there were women wearing mini skirts. the sixties also represented the new modern era from the 40s and fifties.

Where does this come from?

This comes from the trailer we watched were there was many different coloured outfits and skirts that women wear in this trailer. the colour of the trailer also changes such like the women's outfits as they are different coloured.

Write down five key events that shaped it

The cold war, The Cuban missile crisis, Vietnam war, assassination of Kennedy

Cuffs editing in chapter 5

One example of editing in chapter 5 is when the detective is trying to get the young boy, the witness, to speak but wont so she asks to go out of the room to go talk to the other detective to be allowed to do her job and ask the boy questions even though she isn't allowed to. this leaves the witness and the family in distraught and sadness while listening in the detectives talking. This gives a point of view from both the detectives and witnesses side.

Another example of editing is when it crosscuts location from the detectives talking to a man complaining about the incident that happened in his shop to then the police officers, PC Ryan and PC Jake Vickers   driving waiting for a call from there colleagues

The last example of editing in chapter 5 is when it crosscuts from PC Ryan and PC Jake Vickers getting a call from other police officers saying they need backup, to then changing to the other police officers chasing the robber.

6 qs 2010s background

 1. Explain technological convergence. [2] technological convergence means that television is available on tv sets, game consoles, tablets and mobile phones.

2. Explain 'channel surfing'. [2] Channel surfing is routine for broadcast television and content is streamed as individual programmes or ‘box sets’ of series. This means that branding of programmes is crucial – audiences must recognise each programme as a brand in the same way as they do for films

3. Give 3 examples of how channels create brand loyalty [6] The development of long form television drama reflects this need for high quality flagship programming, the serial narratives of these dramas is designed to encourage loyalty to the programme as audiences must follow every episode. The ready availability of recordings enables viewers to catch up on demand.

4. What is 'long form television drama' ? [2] the serial narratives of these dramas is designed to encourage loyalty to the programme as audiences must follow every episode. T

5. What is a 'flagship' programme? [2] The ready availability of recordings enables viewers to catch up on demand.

01 Television

 01 TELEVISION

We look at current news articles about the BBC and return to the OCR fact sheet on the television industry.

According to The Times newspaper this week,  watching TV live and in real time accounts for most TV viewing.

  1. What do you understand by the terms 'live' content and 'on demand' content?   Live content means the viewer’s chosen entertainment depends on what is currently available and live on television whereas on demand it consists of pre-recorded content that the viewer can watch as they please without missing potential live content. Sky have this as it is called Catch up Tv
  2. What is the demand for 'live' content like?  It’s a online market, especially on platforms such as Twitch and Youtube, but can be very profitable. The demand is high as many people want to experience the same content, as the streamer and rest of the world in real time.
  3. According to ratings research, there are 8 programmes cited as the top live shows for family viewing. How many have you watched? 1, Strictly come dancing
  4. Apply Blumler and Katz's audience framework to what you learn from this article. I learn that live content offer social interaction/integration, many shows enabled to be streamed worldwide and it also allows you to interact and comment on any videos you like or dislike. it also allows you to bond with family and society. Especially now, as 39 percent said they can interact with people outside of the fourth wall.
