In the Mojo magazine the layout compared to BBC has with more cover lines than BBC. they add more cover lines so it stands out to there audience whereas BBC keeps it simple meaning it is probably aiming there magazine towards an older and more sophisticated audience. The difference between BBC traditional and elegant serif masthead and MOJO’s bold sans-serif masthead is that BBC connotes seriousness but in Mojo it features the eye catching font which connotes more playfulness and less formality compared to BBC. The contrast between the traditional mise-en-scène in BBC, with the man with a cello case in his hand with informal clothes on, however in Mojo the man is wearing all white and is plain with a scary face which connotes seriousness although the layout of Mojo is informal. He is staring at the reader which also might engage the reader as the reader may feel like the person on the front cover is staring at them. BBC magazine emphasis more classical music and this is shown by using less dramatic lighting and making the front cover of the artist to seem natural. The colours in the main splash are not as bright as MOJO almost keeps a neutral tone throughout the front cover 

In conclusion, MOJO and BBC magazines use media language to target different audiences and appeal to the expectation of the subject the audience is shown on the cover. It is used differently to the extent that MOJO compared to the BBC magazine.

For my double page spread, I would probably put photos of a football that. I would write an article about it and put pictures of perhaps players

One example of editing in chapter 5 is when the detective is trying to get the young boy, the witness, to speak but wont so she asks to go out of the room to go talk to the other detective to be allowed to do her job and ask the boy questions even though she isn't allowed to. this leaves the witness and the family in distraught and sadness while listening in the detectives talking. This gives a point of view from both the detectives and witnesses side.

Another example of editing is when it crosscuts location from the detectives talking to a man complaining about the incident that happened in his shop to then the police officers, PC Ryan and PC Jake Vickers   driving waiting for a call from there colleagues   

The last example of editing in chapter 5 is when it crosscuts from PC Ryan and PC Jake Vickers getting a call from other police officers saying they need backup, to then changing to the other police officers chasing the robber.

MOJO’s representations usually represent the 1960s generation. MOJO' celebrate the classic rock values of passion.  The Stone Roses resurgence is described as a resurrection which is a religious word, which shows of someone holy coming back to life

Some social groups are under-represented. MOJO’s front cover mostly represents white male musicians in photographs, under-representing female musicians and musicians of colour. this is because the man is white and there is only one female on the cover which is very small in the top right

Blumler and Katz argued that there are many uses and gratifications that audiences gain from the media and these make the media successful. Social integration and entertainment are two types of uses and gratifications.

It allows players to re-experience entertaining aspects of the original film, such as its humour and silliness. As players work their way up the levels they can feel the satisfaction of becoming a good player.

Video games offer social interaction as many multiplayer games enable a worldwide community of players to come together in the game and communicate with each other. Many gamers use online forums to discuss games with fans. The Lego Movie Game is not a multiplayer game, but it does offer a set of characters that the audience already knows that they can interact with, this can give (especially young children) them a sense of belonging as if they are a member of a real community.

2. The theme links with the Lego Movie as the Lego Movie world is made out of bricks, just like the advert. I think this was a very good decision by the marketing team because this wont just intrigue the adults it will intrigue children the want what is on the advert, so this is a profitable idea as the children may after the ad break want to watch the Movie which costs money or buy Legos, which can be very expensive.

This is important to maintain the brand identity of the film with having Batman or Vitruvius is because they are trying to maintain a clear view between your messaging audience and the brand.  The stronger your identity the easier it will be to produce effective brand films that appeal to your audience. it will also remind the message about how Batman is the hero and that Vitruvius is the evil man that Batman is trying to stop.
