 What is your impression of the sixties era?

The sixties are represented as a specific fashion time there were women wearing mini skirts. the sixties also represented the new modern era from the 40s and fifties. 

Where does this come from?

This comes from the trailer we watched were there was many different coloured outfits and skirts that women wear in this trailer. the colour of the trailer also changes such like the women's outfits as they are different coloured.

One example of editing in chapter 5 is when the detective is trying to get the young boy, the witness, to speak but wont so she asks to go out of the room to go talk to the other detective to be allowed to do her job and ask the boy questions even though she isn't allowed to. this leaves the witness and the family in distraught and sadness while listening in the detectives talking. This gives a point of view from both the detectives and witnesses side.

Another example of editing is when it crosscuts location from the detectives talking to a man complaining about the incident that happened in his shop to then the police officers, PC Ryan and PC Jake Vickers   driving waiting for a call from there colleagues   

The last example of editing in chapter 5 is when it crosscuts from PC Ryan and PC Jake Vickers getting a call from other police officers saying they need backup, to then changing to the other police officers chasing the robber.

We look at current news articles about the BBC and return to the OCR fact sheet on the television industry.  

According to The Times newspaper this week,  watching TV live and in real time accounts for most TV viewing.

1. What do you understand by the terms 'live' content and 'on demand' content?   Live content means the viewer’s chosen entertainment depends on what is currently available and live on television whereas on demand it consists of pre-recorded content that the viewer can watch as they please without missing potential live content. Sky have this as it is called Catch up Tv
2. What is the demand for 'live' content like?  It’s a online market, especially on platforms such as Twitch and Youtube, but can be very profitable. The demand is high as many people want to experience the same content, as the streamer and rest of the world in real time.
3. According to ratings research, there are 8 programmes cited as the top live shows for family viewing. How many have you watched? 1, Strictly come dancing

Apply Blumler and Katz's audience framework to what you learn from this article. I learn that live content offer social interaction/integration, many shows enabled to be streamed worldwide and it also allows you to interact and comment on any videos you like or dislike. it also allows you to bond with family and society. Especially now, as 39 percent said they can interact with people outside of the fourth wall.

Questions about representation involve:

MOJO wants to attract a target audience that likes classic rock so in a version of reality that represents musicians as idols. in the photo they use good lighting, angles and him looking into the camera shows that he is looking you in the eye and that he is showing confidence for staring right at you

MOJO’s representations usually represent the 1960s generation. MOJO' celebrate the classic rock values of passion.  The Stone Roses resurgence is described as a resurrection which is a religious word, which shows of someone holy coming back to life

Some social groups are under-represented. MOJO’s front cover mostly represents white male musicians in photographs, under-representing female musicians and musicians of colour. this is because the man is white and there is only one female on the cover which is very small in the top right

MOJO’s front cover associates musicians with quest, danger and struggle, celebrating the values associated with rock music of ‘living fast and dying young.
