Mojo

Comparison of media language in MOJO and We Love Pop

The layout of MOJO is very compact with not much space and is fulfilling the whole page which connotes (=has associations of) that it is aimed at younger children By contrast, the layout of We Love Pop is not for the elderly which connotes this is aimed at younger kids and teenagers



The typography of MOJO is very bold and stands out which connotes (=has associations of) that it is a happy book and is trying to catch the younger audiences attention By contrast, the  typography of We Love Pop is loud which connotes happiness and attention



The layout of MOJO is more spaced out which connotes (=has associations of) that it is not as bright as the Pop magazine as that is aimed at younger people so mojo is aimed at older people By contrast, the layout of We Love Pop is different to mojo which connotes the age gaps between the magazines



The colour palette of MOJO is limited to a few colourswhich connotes (=has associations of) it is not as happy By contrast, the colour palette of We Love Pop is bright which makes it seem happier than the Mojo magazine



The language of MOJO emphasises deeper language whereas the language of We Love Pop is more upbeat and happy
